Dr. Ort is a double board-certified and fellowship trained facial surgeon and holds exceptional qualifications and surgical expertise in both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the face. She received her MD degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She also received her DDS degree from the Ohio State University, graduating as number one in her class with the highest academic honor, Summa Cum Laude.
Dr. Ort received a rigorous, 5-year surgical residency training at Case Western Reserve University and its associated hospitals, University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, Metrohealth Systems, and Cleveland Clinic. She gained expertise in managing functional, structural, and aesthetic reconstruction of the face through the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She then completed a top-notch cosmetic surgery fellowship training accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, working with surgeons in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery, Facial Plastic surgery, Oculoplastic surgery, and honing the finesse of cosmetic surgeries of the face.
Dr. Ort’s skills and hard work are backed by several highly esteemed accolades. She is board certified by both the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. She holds the highest standards set by the boards in her surgical practice, professionalism, and patient care.
Dr. Ort is committed to professional advancement through the education and training of her peers. She dedicates her time to serve as an affiliate faculty at University of Washington, department of oral and maxillofacial surgery, educating the next generation of surgeons. She has authored peer-reviewed articles and book chapters in the topic of rhinoplasty, management of pediatric sleep apnea, and osteomyelitis of the jaw and jaw reconstruction.
She has also spent some time in South Korea advancing her professional development and collaborating with plastic surgeons for facial contouring surgery and Asian facial plastic surgery. As a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and Washington State Medical Association, Dr. Ort has a life-long commitment to represent, advance, and serve her profession.

Born in South Korea, Dr. Ort moved to the United States at the age of 13 and grew up in Ohio. She is fluent in English and Korean, and to a lesser extent, Spanish. She is a classically-trained pianist and violinist. Dr. Ort is passionate about art, hiking, and of course, family.
